The Institute for Human Development (IHD) is a premier interdisciplinary research institution and Knowledge Partner of JSFDA in strengthening research culture, evidence-based policymaking, and academic excellence.

IHD is recognized by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. It is also a Knowledge Partner of NITI Aayog and has been recognized by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, as a Centre of Excellence for Research on Tribal Development.

Through its Eastern Regional Centre (IHD-ERC), Ranchi, the Institute extends academic and technical support to JSFDA for strengthening research capabilities and institutional development across Higher Education Institutions.

The partnership supports the design and delivery of Faculty Development Programmes, research workshops, policy dialogues, seminars, and capacity-building initiatives that encourage interdisciplinary research and evidence-based academic practices.
